The Department of Endocrine Surgery oversees the delivery of thyroid, parathyroid, adrenal, and neuroendocrine tumor operations across the health system in order to improve patient access and quality. Conditions commonly referred for surgery include thyroid nodules, goiters, thyroid cancer, Graves’ disease, hyperparathyroidism, and adrenal nodules, tumors, masses, and cancer.
Endocrine surgeons provide surgical treatment for conditions that affect the thyroid, parathyroid, adrenal glands, and pancreas. With advanced fellowship training in endocrine surgery, our endocrine surgeons treat both cancerous and benign (noncancerous) conditions, at times with advanced minimally invasive procedures.
By being active researchers, our surgeons are able to deliver the latest, evidence-based care straight to our patients. Each of our board-certified surgeons has years of experience treating complex endocrine problems and providing outstanding patient care.
